Series Hamburg presented

14 - 20 May 2007
Robin is in the last tournament before
the Roland Garros. In Hamburg he started against the American Robby
Ginepri. In the first set he had his chances but didn't convert
his breakpoints. Ginepri win his lone chance and that was enough
to go a se ahead. In the second set Soderling improved his game
and broke twice, and even after losing serve once, still did enough
to level the match.
The final set was going game for game in the beginning. But from
2-3 the Swede won the next four games to comfortably close the
match The first double fault of the match gave Soderling a double
matchpoint at 5-3 and he promptly converted.
In the next match the opponent wa the Spaniard David Ferrer. Soderling
comfortably won the opening set, as Ferrer was slow off the start.
The second started as the first one ended, with Robin breaking
early on. But He allowed an immediate break back and from there
on Ferrer was on a roll.
He broke again for the second set and twice more in the third to
win comfortably at the end.
Disappointment for Robin, as he lost again a match he a=was well
in control of.
